Description

Main Focus and Challenges:


Support brand group manager to develop the brand strategy in Japan. Drive the brand development pipeline and relevant activities based on:



  1. Integrating consumer, market, & business insight;

  2. Developing most satisfying product and relevant pipeline activities; and

  3. Delivering best in class activation


Role Summary:



  • The Brand Manager is responsible for building strong equity for the brand for sustainable growth

  • Key responsibilities including support annual brand strategic review, brand strategy development, and deployment for brand activities under the area of responsibility, with the ambition of sustainable growth

  • The most important metrics by which successful performance will be judged are:


    • Brand pipeline development and implementation

    • Delivery of commercial KPIs: Volume, Market share, NTO, and UOP




Key Responsibilities



  • Support the development of brand strategies, annual brand cycle plans, and brand activities that are in line with the company's objectives

  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders for the launch of new innovative products and campaigns.

  • Constant conduct market and business analysis to ensure the understanding of evolving market dynamics and identify business/ brand opportunities

  • Develop research requirements and projects to be carried out by the research team and ensure thorough data analysis to gain robust consumer insight

  • Work closely with Trade Marketing and Activation, to ensure brand marketing activities with full alignment around brand strategy execution

  • Supervise external advertising agencies to ensure that deliverables are addressing the brief, at high quality, and are delivered on time

  • Monitor brand volume and share performance to ensure KPI achievement while propose necessary initiatives to address the gap or maximize the growth
