More about the Role:
- You will support our customers in Japan including both API consumers and providers.
- You will be our front-line in exciting the customer and so your input into the product lifecycle will be very valuable.
- You should have an opinion about what works and what doesn’t work for the local market. This opinion should be shared with the team and communicated to our partners as and when required..
- Establish good working processes in the team to ensure we are doing the best we can with our limited resources.
- We are setting up operations in Japan and have a position available for a Technical Consultant. You will be based in Tokyo.
- We are looking for someone to join our support team and help potential customers onboard covering areas from API discovery to integration.
More about the Successful Candidate:
- A can-do, get-things-done attitude!
- 2+ years' experience in a technical support or development role
- Strong communication skills
- Good customer facing manner
- Native Japanese level (both spoken and written). You should be able to speak 'keigo' well.
Good to have:
- Familiarity with public APIs, API gateways, API management
- Exposure to the Japan developer community
- Not afraid of public speaking - not a must but would be opportunities to shine if you are.
