Description

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling content strategy for website
  • Identify, and implement, industry best practice in terms of web strategy, keeping a close eye on emerging technologies and trends with a view to integration into the company and regional web strategy
  • Work with team of writers to create copy (stepping in to help write content when necessary)
  • Analyze and update written materials for clear communication of strategy, brand values, and other key messaging points
  • Optimize all digital content for search engines and maximize placement in search results
  • Support the Director and serve as an internal subject matter expert in digital tactics and methods that enhance the department's capabilities
  • Identify, and implement, industry best practice in terms of web strategy, keeping a close eye on emerging technologies and trends with a view to integration into the company and regional web strategy
  • Plan and orchestrate A/B testing and personalization, setting up a cycle of continuous optimization for key journeys
  • Work with localization and regional teams to update global web properties
  • Manages regional web content management properties following best practices of local region (Japan only)

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years proven experience in B2B marketing (SaaS experience a bonus)
  • 2+ years of editorial and/or UX/UI writing experience
  • Strong passion for web content and user experience; excellent copywriting skills
  • Understanding of SEO
  • Ability to optimize web pages for search engines and users alike
  • Ability to turn product documents into easy to understand customer and prospect friendly content
  • Strong editing skills and eye for detail, including ability to edit text into short and easy to digest modules
  • Build and maintain buyer personas and website journeys
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to analyze data
  • Familiar with CMS (Bynder), project management (Wrike), analytics tools
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-standard best practices
  • Ability to understand every facet of the global business, delivering within a fast-paced environment with agility and adaptability
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Some travel (25%) to San Jose office required
  • Fluency in Japanese language, with strong business English skills
