Our client is hiring Technical Account Managers in the Tokyo area at all levels: entry-level to expert. Pay and position will depend on experience and expertise.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will be a part of a strategically important group at our client that helps our customers create and maintain great technical solutions. As a member of this fast-growing team, you will be assigned a few large customers who are in various stages of cloud adoption. Your role will be to help them solve difficult technical problems, provide technical guidance, perform technical reviews, and serve as their advocate within our client. You will build and maintain strong professional relationships while becoming familiar with their architecture and technical operations.

WE are hiring Technical Account Managers in the Tokyo area at all levels: entry-level to expert. Pay and position will depend on experience and expertise. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be a part of a strategically important group at us that helps our customers create and maintain great technical solutions. As a member of this fast-growing team, you will be assigned a few large customers who are in various stages of cloud adoption. Your role will be to help them solve difficult technical problems, provide technical guidance, perform technical reviews, and serve as their advocate within us. You will build and maintain strong professional relationships while becoming familiar with their architecture and technical operations.

Successful candidates typically have strong technical background in several internet technologies such as networking, databases, application servers, operating systems, or programming and deep knowledge in at least one relevant discipline. Previous cloud experience is not required. We will provide three months of specialized training to supplement your current knowledge with our expertise.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide technical guidance to your customers using industry and our best practices
Help to solve challenging technical issues and drive customer communication during critical events
Perform periodic technical reviews for your customers
Serve as your customers’ point of contact during technical emergencies
Champion our product improvements for your customers

役割と責任:
お客様に、インターネット業界とクラウドのベストプラクティスに基づいた技術的なガイダンスを提供する
お客様の困難な技術的課題の解決を支援し、重要なイベントが発生した際にお客様とのコミュニケーションを先導する
お客様のシステムやお客様のオペレーションに対して技術的なレビューを定期的に提供する
技術的な緊急事態が発生した際に、お客様のPoint of Contactとして活動する
お客様のためにクラウドのプロダクトの改善を推進する

Requirement: (more experience and expertise are required for more senior positions):
3+ years of working experience on Internet technologies such as networking, databases, application servers, webservers, or programming
Understanding of n-tier (multi-tier) web architectures and how to trouble shoot them
At least one technical specialty
Understanding of standard internet protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP and HTTP
Fluency in professional Japanese, both written and spoken
Able to read and write basic technical English
Positive attitude with customer-obsessed service skills

基本的に求められる能力:(上位のポジションにはより多くの経験と専門知識が求められる):
3年以上のネットワーク、データベース、アプリケーションサーバー、ウェブサーバー、または、プログラミングといったインターネットを利用したサービスに関連する技術分野での業務経験
Webサービスを構成するためのN-tier(Multi-tier)アーキテクチャに関しての理解、およびその問題判別方法に対する理解
最低一つの技術エリアに関する専門的な知識
DNS、TCP/IPやHTTPといった、標準的なインターネットプロトコルに関する理解
日本語を用いてプロフェッショナルとして口頭でコミュニケーションを行う能力、および、日本語を用いてプロフェッショナルな文章を書く能力
英語で記載された技術的文書の基礎的な読解能力、および、技術的な事柄に関する基礎的な英作文能力
お客様のために活動する事への積極的な姿勢

Good to have:
Experience working in a global organization
English skills – TOEIC score of 700+
A computer science or engineering background
Experience working with external customers
Prior consulting experience
